Lisa Hansen, LMSW - SCHS Social Worker

Email: lhansen@blaineschools.org

Title: Social Worker

Office: 208-578-5063

Lisa has served in the Blaine County School District for the past five years, where her priority is building compassionate connections with students and families so every student feels known, seen, and supported along their unique journey. She blends her Master’s degree in Social Work with a background in Special Education to create a bottom-up approach that helps students feel connected, curious, and confident both at school and in life.

Her practice is deeply rooted in the Community Resiliency Model (CRM), providing students with trauma-informed tools to regulate their nervous system and expand their capacity for healing. She weaves CRM with a systems-oriented approach, utilizing Internal Family Systems to help students explore their inner world and expressive art therapy to process complex feelings. Guided by the NASW Code of Ethics, Lisa is committed to building a collaborative, inclusive space for the entire school community.

Outside of school, Lisa can be found hiking with her dog, Scout, reading coming-of-age novels, or cooking her signature chicken and rice dish for family and friends.
